Monthly Schedule

Week 1 & 2 Play the game of the month
Week 3 Keep playing, discuss and submit screenshots and gallery art
Week 4 Keep playing, vote on next month's game

How Games Are Chosen

  1. Members nominate games over a couple of days during the final week of the month.
  2. A first-round vote narrows down the list.
  3. If one game wins by a landslide, it's locked in.
  4. If several games are close, additional rounds are held until a winner emerges.

Trophy System

Each game has up to three trophy challenges at different difficulty tiers:

  • Gold — 10 points. The hardest challenge, usually requiring mastery or a specific feat.
  • Silver — 5 points. A moderate challenge beyond simply finishing the game.
  • Bronze — 1 point. Typically beating the game or reaching a milestone.

Trophies are tracked on the Leaderboards by year and on the Hall of Fame for all-time rankings.

How Do I Earn a Trophy?

Awarded Your trophy is added and leaderboards are updated

We run on trust — since most proof can be easily faked, we rely on honesty. Fabricating submissions may result in trophies being struck from the record or suspension from the club.

What Platforms Can I Play On?

Anything goes. Platform version is determined by the vote, but here are some ways to play:

🕹️ Original Play on the real console and cartridge/disc
💻 Software Software emulation (RetroArch, Dolphin, DuckStation, etc.)
🔧 FPGA Hardware emulation (MiSTer, Analogue, etc.)
